Local Officials Preparing Tivoli Park
for Spring and Summer Season

Tivoli... Village of Tivoli Trustees Bryan F. Cranna and Michael Leedy, along with Dutchess County Legislator Benjamin Traudt, R- Red Hook,  worked to prepare Tivoli's Memorial Park for the 2010 Spring and Summer season this past weekend.  Playground equipment was repainted, trash and debris was disposed of, and some minor repairs were done.

Trustee Cranna stated, "I am grateful to Trustee Leedy and Legislator Traudt for their assistance in getting our park in order for the season.  Together we accomplished much. However, more work needs to be done, and the village seeks volunteers to assist us with the park and recreational activities."

Cranna concluded by saying, "Memorial Park has always been the center point of our village.  But to ensure that it continues to stand that way, we all must be willing to play our parts to keep it running and be a friendly and welcoming part of our village."

Tivoli... Village of Tivoli Deputy Mayor Bryan Cranna has announced that he is seeking a fourth term as a member of the Village of Tivoli Board of Trustees.  Cranna made the announcement to supporters on January 19th at the Santa Fe restaurant in Tivoli.

Cranna stated, "I am honored to have represented Tivoli for the last six years.  I take my responsibilities seriously and I am proud of my record.  I will offer this record to the residents of Tivoli to consider when they enter the voting booth on March 16th."

Cranna continued, "These are challenging and uncertain economic times we find ourselves in.  However, by being fiscally conservative with government spending, but still delivering the essential services residents deserve and expect, reducing the size of village government, and sharing services with both the town and village of Red Hook, I am certain that Tivoli will overcome these challenges, and be stronger and more secure than we were."

Cranna has pledged if  re-elected to continue his public forum series relating to an array of topics that affect  Tivoli and its residents, as well as continuing to investigate and implement procedures to ensure that the Village of Tivoli continues to be an environmentally sound community."  Visit Photo Blog for photo of announcement.
